What to take to a friend's dog's Wake

Does one take anything?  It won't be held at their home but in a public garden.  It's not a funeral.

Flowers?   I've never been to one before and there will be a lot of people there.

I never take anything to funerals or memorial services so I am not sure I would take anything to a dog's wake.

Perhaps they might have donations to an animal charity?

If you want to give something more personal, do you have any photos of the person with the dog? There are a lot of things that can be made with photo programs.

Totally with you there  enigma . 

She was part of the family which I relate to and  I loved her dearly too.

Enigma thanks for the memorial links.....  I think I'll get something from them later.

The main thing I think is that the grieving owner will be surrounded by loving  friends and family.

I've been to quite a few beause there was no funeral.

No-one takes anything except good memories of the person and of the fun times.
