What was your first world problem today?

I had one in Coles.

The deli server asked who was first (because they NEVER use the **bleep**ING ticket system, am I right?) and I indicated truthfully that the (well-fed) woman to my left  was first.

Stupid me.

Well-fed woman had to taste everything before she asked for it all to be specially sliced for her.  Already sliced turkey breast or ham wasn't good enough for her, no siree! She neeeded THICK slices of everything.

Deli server: "Is this thick enough madam?"

Well-fed woman: "Hmm let me see....."

Oh, and then she insisted that she only have 400 grams and ONLY 400 grams of all the stuff she had tatsed and asked to be specially sliced just for her.  I think she had her lunch at the deli counter...

ARGH!!!

we had a power cut at work today, 23 children and no air con, was just about to make the decision to close and power came back on

Got rid of chrome and yahoo on my pc because of pop up ads all over the screen. . my tablet went flat at the doctors as well.

I didn't know we had a walmart on the goldcoast

i remember when I was a kid, there was a store called Franklins.

you had to walk up the stairs to get to that level (from where the butcher shop was)

and that was where I learned how repulsive dirty cracked heels were.

they were everywhere!

Been paranoid about it ever since,

I SAW the greedy woman again! 

At the same deli counter in the same supermarket!

I could tell she was going to do the full on eat-her-lunch-while-pretending-to-taste-thing again. Could feel it in my waters. However, she also saw ME. Furthermore, the guy on the deli counter was the same guy as the first time so, she chickened out. 

There are signs all over the deli stating "ask for a taste" or similar. Oh, to be so bold!

My first world problem today.

There is a lot of earthworks going on around here at the moment and everything is getting so dusty all the time.  Ex decided to wash down the windows outside with the garden hose.  It's a pity he didn't bother to close the french doors before he squirted them down.

mine was kitty litter. I couldn't by the usual one I get.

so far they are not impressed with the one I had to buy.
