At a lawyers going rate of $500 per hour, 24 hours per day? That's gonna cost you some.

All all because you were unwise enough to give out personal details?

When somebody freaks out, and is then "seeking" revenge for some fantasy harm that you did to them, it can get very ugly.

Walk away. Don't get tangled in the web (and fight)that they are desperately trying to keep going. Especially in a very public forum.

As a friend, I would like to say that a thread like this might feel like bait to this person.

The last word is not always the best word. There is no such thing as winning in these type of situations.
