Where do you go to keep cool

When the weather is very hot where do you go to keep cool.

Around here there are people who go to the major shopping centres or the clubs and stay there most of the day.

I have just been to the hospital with and elderly neighbour who had had a fall.  I was surprised at the number of people in the waiting room at causality.  One of the nurse said that some of these people sit there all day to keep cool.

same here - we have aircon, so inside is good.

the pool is actually a bit warm though.

One of my kids dumped a heap of ice in the spa part today to cool down a little section and it melted in seconds LOL

then it took 3 hours for the ice machine to fill back up

My biggest problem is keeping the dog inside. He is a Jack Russell all white with a pink nose and he heats up easily. He loves to get out back and lie in the blazing sun.

We have a split system down stairs and evaporative cooling upstairs. Right now I am downstairs with a  hoodie on!

I stay in the house, mainly in my study or sewing room where I can turn a fan on, but we have the air conditioning going at 18 degrees cold, no way am I venturing out until this is over ..  ]:)
