Here's another interesting fact - In 1989, the Dalai Lama was awarded the Nobel Peace Prize, for his work advocating nonviolent

means to free Tibet from China.

I have been lucky enough to meet him and he truly is a gentle and genuine person. At one of the teachings, he talked about reincarnation. He said that if reincarnation doesn't exist then it would be a waste of consciousness, however, if science ever proves empirically that reincarnation does not exist, then, he would have to change his mind about it. He pointed out that in early scriptures many things were written that have since been scientifically disproved and that it is important to be sensible about such matters.

If it were truly Karma for Greg, it would not have been his hand, surely? 😛

the payout to his wife wasn't Karma. it was the law. He would have expected a financial consequence, or reaction, to his action.

Only living once made me think of James Bond. Roger Moore did the same as Greg, left a long term marriage to marry his best friend's wife. Expensive divorce there too. The two couples had holidayed together for years and were very close.
