Actually, I realize you were kidding here, but in reality, they can't pick the next Dalai Lama until the one who is living dies. The new one would have to be born after the last one's death since the new one is supposed to be a reincarnation of the dead one.

I most definitely believe in karma. What we send out into the universe comes back to us, so sending out good thoughts, deeds, vibes, is always the way to go.

Here's dome interesting info about him.....
The Dalai Lama, Tenzin Gyatso, was born Lhamo Dhondup on July 6, 1935 to peasants in Taktser, a village in northeastern Tibet. He
was one of five children in the family.
He was found by Tibetan monks when he was 2 years old. The monks tested the boy to see if he was the reincarnation of the 13th
Dalai Lama. He passed the tests and had physical traits that the monks were looking for such as moles in certain places and long
ears. At 2, he was renamed Tenzin Gyatso, took the throne at age 4 and became a monk at age 6.

Assuming you (general) are equipped to make that assumption.
Karma is nobody's fool.
People can dance around it, speak in tongues/code and make fun of it.
But it will catch up to you. It will have the last laugh.
In some instances when Karma laughs, the world laughs with it.
