I halve them, microwave them till just with an equal amount of sliced leeks, put them in a casserole dish, pour over a cheese and mustard sauce, top with a mixture of breadcrumbs, parmesan cheese and finely chopped bacon and stick in athe oven at 180c for bout 20minutes or until nicely browned.
surprisingly yummy - the blandness of the leeks counteracts the bitterness of the sprouts.

I love brussel sprouts with hot English mustard and even with light sour cream too when I'm feeling naughty.
I'm with you Freddie. The veggie drawer in my fridge is just not big enough.

Love sprouts. They are only bitter if overcooked.
Yesterday for lunch I had steamed cauli, carrots, sprouts, and beans with a little cheese crumbled in. Very little lol.

No one mentioned squash......#1 on my list of most hated veggie. I'll never forget being forced to eat it. I could manage to get some brussel sprouts down with loads of butter, salt, and pepper.
Peppers also (I think you call them capsicum). I can detect a single tiny piece in an entire pot of tomato sause. And boy did I hate when a whole stuffed pepper was the dinner. Even though I was always hungry, I chose not to eat anything....everytime. It was sickening!
It's in your genes, if you are a "supertaster" you'll not like vegetables. A simple test on children prove with 100% accuracy whether or not they will like vegetables.
That’s right folks, we’re talking genes here. People can be classified as nontasters, tasters, and supertasters based on their sensitivity to bitter compounds. This sensitivity is affected by the alleles we carry for a specific tasting gene: TAS2R38. Those who have two copies of the “P” allele are known as supertasters and are super sensitive to bitter compounds in foods. - See more at: http://www.mindthesciencegap.org/2013/04/05/hate-vegetables-blame-it-on-your-supertaste-gene/#sthash...

Sprouts boiled in salt water for 15minutes and drained, then smothered in breadcrumbs browned in real butter. Sprinkle any bits of crunchy bacon over them or/and a bit of your favourite grated cheese. Pour some mustard sauce or sour cream over them. 101 ways to eat brussel sprouts.
I love them, as it is one of the few vegies I can not put raw in a salad.
The only vegetable I don't like are chokos. Don't know why people eat them, they taste of nothing and I don't think they have any nutritional value.

The only vegetable I don't like are chokos.
