skwerl, it's taken a couple of years to find a handyman who will actually be handy !!

Most of the time they don't turn up let alone return your phone calls.  This one has fixed the leaky window we've been trying to get done for the last 3 years !

There are a lot of little things that need doing, well, there are a lot of big things too but it seems harder to find a person willing to do the small fiddly things.....I feel like I've won lotto hahaa!

So it isn't the wisteria paint that you like ?  well then I bet it's called Lavender Mist (or it should be)  is it like a hazy purpley/blue?  That's the colour I imagine it to be.

It's seem that the little "fiddly" jobs seemed to be the ones that take the longest to do, so pleased you have finally found someone to help you Soul.   

My yesterday was spent trying to move the freezer outof the garage and onto the back verandah 12 feet away, easy peasy, EXCEPT that the side gate between the garage an the back verandah was too narrow and it wouldn't fit through it. So it went onto the trailer, down the driveway,  up the access road, into the top yard and then we dragged it down to where we wanted it to be.  Took 1/2 to do something that should have taken 5 mins lol

Look forward to seeing them DB 🙂   Our kitchen is a work in progress, we can't finish  it until we re stump the house. We have gutted a cpl of cupboards to fit the new stove, fridge and microwave and a cpl more for the dishwasher, which hopefully will be installed this week so I guess that's a start.
