Who here doesn't believe in Evolution?

I actually met someone with a science degree today who doesn't believe in evolution and KNOWS that all humans came from Adam and Eve.:O

"Why are there still monkeys today if humans evolved from monkeys?" is a common belief amongst creationists. Who here doesn't know the answer to this?

Who here doesn't think that evolution is the best explanation for all the different living species on Earth today?

i'm not about to promote any views, but when certain religious institutions prove just how corrrupt and dysfunctional they really are.. there's bound to be a reaction and a backlash.

I was going to say the same thing.

Babies LEARN beliefs, values,morals, skills and develop (and sometimes inherit) character and personality from their environment. They are born neutral.

As I said, I see it on these boards all the time. It's not a discussion it's a criticism of mainly the catholic religion. I find it offensive.

Religion is discussed in the same way every other topic is discussed on these boards  - one person starts a discussion, people agree, people disagree.

The fact that you can get all defensive and read things between the lines that aren't really there simply gives atheists good reason to say "Told you so!"

Join the discussion and add intelligent dialogue instead of criticising.

gosh Martini, you have been posting here for years.  you honestly haven't seen the ridicules directed at those who interpret the Bible literally?  An example......hmm....OK, have a look at Darki's Adam and Eve thread.  No one there is referring to ppl as idiots and mocking them.....nope....uh uh!

Oviously I'm not the only one who's noticed the concerted attack on the Christian religion, just have a look at the heading of the OP.

There's no need to name names, but I see Meep has so I rest my case & I stand by my post. I was not defensive or offensive, just stating my opinion.

If you don't like it you don't have to comment on my post, or if you feel the need to, may I suggest less agressive reply.
