Mine will be surprised that the Easter Bunny DIDN"T come for them.  ๐Ÿ˜ž

The first time.  I know they (especially one of them) will be totally annoyed.

Re: Who is bringing out the egg hunt out

This year I bought  a bunny choc for onr, an egg for another, a bunny for OH as usual and an egg for father in law.

I decided not to buy chocolate for the grandies and nieces as they have enough...and I refuse to substitute $ or gifts. Now I feel so bad.... but the parents didn't want me to anyway. ๐Ÿ˜ž

Re: Who is bringing out the egg hunt out

Once a year - I have always bought jumpers for my kids with 1 egg as they got plenty from others.  I now buy pjs for the grandson and an egg.  Still buy some choc for the grown ups - usually choc bars that I know they like. I bought them 4 bags of assorted small eggs, 8 twirls and a couple of other bars I forget the name of.

Our daughter bought us eggs (not needed) and a pair of towels.

Our grand-daughter is due today so hoping we soon get an extra special Easter bunny.

Re: Who is bringing out the egg hunt out

Easter Sunday is a big deal at my parents house so al the kids gets loaded up with Easter Eggs and then we do an easter egg hunt after lunch for the 8 or so nephews/neices/cousins.

One of the adults always thinks it's a good idea to contribute to the lunch by bringing with a chocolate cake just in case we don't have enough.

So it's a big chocolate for us. ๐Ÿ˜„

Re: Who is bringing out the egg hunt out

My kids are coming over for Easter lunch at 2pm today. I've got crackers and dips, Foccacia toasted with avocado, onion, a good soft cheese, spinach leaves, vine tomatoes and an Apple Crumble with custard for dessert.

I still buy them Easter Eggs but we don't hunt for them ๐Ÿ˜

Re: Who is bringing out the egg hunt out

I don't understand why some buy gifts (pyjamas and stuff) at easter.?:|

I'm not critising or anything, it's just something I had never encountered before someone here mentioned it a few years back.
