First-up is Jacob Langston (Landon Giminez), an eight-year-old boy who suddenly wakes up in a rice field in China after drowning in Arcadia thirty-two years earlier.
Immigration agent J Martin Bellamy (Epps) returns the boy to dumbfounded parents Henry and Lucille Langston (Kurtwood Smith and Frances Fisher).
That sets off a chain of events which leads Bellamy to try and unravel a mystery that seems to defy logic.

well the joke is on me , because something must've run over time and my recording ended early ( I think)
the last scene i saw was the helicopter. Was that the end?? Or was there a bit more??

I have to say I haven't been rivetted.
It's been a bit like Days of Our Lives - even tho I keep missing every second episode, nothing seems to have moved on very much in the story line.

that half-moon shaped birthmark on Agent Bellamy's shoulder, seen in the last shot, was interesting. He must be the baby the couple couldn't find.
(I'm being a bit obscure for those who haven't seen the episode)

ahh yes. thats right . I remember them saying the baby had a birthmark or something
