Beautiful warm sunny days here (near Toowoomba, Qld), but the nights are FRREEEZZZING!!

I had to put on socks and slippers last night. Roll on summer - I hate winter.

Absolutely bucketing down here on the NSW Far South Coast.  The lake at the bottom of our street, that is usually cut off from the sea by a sand bank, has burst and the water is rushing out to sea.  I saw people tow-in surfing earlier but even they have given up now.  And it is freeeeezzzzzing!

At times like these I wish we had an open fire 😞

it was really cold here this morning and I am in the mallee area

we have a wood heater  so lit ours this morning and it suppose to be raining here tomorrow, but I will believe that when I see it

atm I have a nice big pot of soup on  bacon hock loaded with vegies and split peas and most important ingredient pearl barley.

Last night turned out to be a one cat night (acccording to the cat). It's chilly today. Think I'll pop in to town and buy some soup and slow cooker supplies then come home and chop some wood.

It is freezing here and pouring rain. I am sitting in my lounge with my wooly slippers and dressing gown on wrapped in a blanket with my Shakespeare sitting on my legs and I am still freezing it looks like I am going to have to put the heating on.

I have never had to do that before in April. If this keeps up I am going to have a big electricity bill, I hate winter roll on Summer I like heat

It was a two cat night for me last night Sophie at my feet and Shakespeare laying on my legs, nothing like a 9kg cat that is longer than your legs keeping you warm.

So, you really dont want to know that in Perth its clear and sunny, lawns being mown, birds chirping, washing drying on the line, lunch time BBQ's with the footy on (Go Freo!!).........

I might have to invest in a coon cat. My little cat is good for the feet but with hubby away most of the winter I could do with a leg warmer too.

The dog is too smelly and covered in farmers friends.
