If Labor didn't? Or is it that some cannot accept defeat? I keep hearing people from the right saying get over it and move on but that thread just takes the cake 🙂

Donna, I suppose it comes down to how you define "win".
Is a win classified as winning more seats ? Getting a bigger share of the 2PP ? Bigger share of the primary vote ? Negotiating to form a Government ?
I would be surprised if anyone considered a "win" to be a situation where they didn't form government. After all, that's what it's about, no ? All of the "wins" that don't involve actually becoming the government of the day are meaningless. You can sit back and say "oh, look at us, we won more of the 2PP, blah blah blah", but so what ? It's akin to peeing yourself in a wetsuit - it feels good, but no-one notices.
If Labour was on the nose as much as some thought they were, Marshall should have been able to capitalise on that. And he didn't, supposed gerrymander or not. He ran a negative campaign, including some poor judgement in his campaign against Bob Such, and paid the price. Wetherill ran a measured campaign in a hostile environment, including coping with continued fallout from the Rann years, and still managed to get over the line.
As for Pyne calling the Wetherill Government "illegitimate", well that is just typical Pyne hysterics.
Marshall (or whichever drover's dog takes his place) will rue this missed opportunity. I dare say we will see a bit of turmoil in the upper echelons of the LNP (SA Branch) - and Vicky Chapman will be lovin' every minute of it.

Yes that is right (but some here do) do you know if more people voted Labor than Liberal at the last election? That is usually the case with the Federal elections.

so you also hold to the imbecilic notion that a party with less seats won an election MM ? extraordinary

Compassion, understanding, a friendly pat, even a chuckle at some of the posts is all that is required, in fact it could be described as a form of de facto hand feeding our chatting within CS!.
If I could give you 2 or more KUDOS for this post I would MM12 but alas you will have to settle with 1 only from me. You will not get a green, a green wash is only for the hand holders
