Ms York said the Marriage Alliance wanted to find out what impacts legalising same sex marriage would have.
“We so have to find out what ramifications there will be. What will be the effects, there'll be so little discussion about this,” she said at the launch last Sunday.
The group said it had contacted Prime Minister Tony Abbott and Communications Minister Malcolm Turnbull to make them aware of the decision.
"Has political correctness or the power of a certain lobby group reached so far down that it now erodes the once proud Australian 'fair-go' character that it is preventing ordinary Australians from having a voice?” Ms York said.

Whilst they think they have been clever with the wording in order to get this ad through, it is still making assumptions and instilling discriminatory ideas by saying "same sex marriage has unintended consequences" or asking questions like "how will it affect the children?".

But aren't these points worth discussing?

It also references their website which asks even more subliminally discriminatory questions.

These points are already discussed and have been researched. However, this group is NOT discussing them. They are not answering any of their own questions or providing/citing research. Their web address (which is the point of the ad) does not address the issues they mention in any way. Their biggest set of information is their large clockdown for the date set in Parliament to make a decision.
They are deliberately asking questions worded in such as a way as appearing to be concerned but instilling ideas that are disrciminatory. That is why they have ben banned.
And it's classic passive aggression.

And did I mention that the organisation is run by Sophie York?
Runs the Lane Cove branch of thre Liberal Party and ran for preselection in Bradfield.
Could be regarded as political advertising.

And why aren't THEY prepared to have a discussion? This from the SMH:
Marriage Alliance has also posted its commercial on YouTube. However, comments have been disabled.
Can't even have a discussion about it on their own forums?

Maybe they banned the ad because its a **bleep** ad.
Pfft cue in soft, sensitive female voice, light piano music playing in the background, hand drawn SAME SEX MARRIAGE in the shape of an iceberg, hang on, whats that? On the surface it seems so straightforward..camera pulls out to show the submerged part of the iceberg...you mean..theres more to it than you think???
Sad little frightened ad.

It's not their own forum......it's youtube's forum.........
You start screaming about the horrors of gay marriage on the CS, and you'll find yourself banned too...........

It is a fear based campaign that serves no purpose other than the spreading of ridiculous bs. From their website,"Same sex marriage will lead to more same sex parenting."
