Why are people such staunch Labor voters?

Particularly when every Labor governement in living history has amounted such huge debts whilst in office?

Or is it just that they blindly follow the old mantra, that 'Labor is for the working man?'

Now don't get me wrong - I don't particularly like Abbott, and I sure as h3ll didn't like Rudd or Gillard, but there's so much more to a political party than it's leader.

Feel free to discuss...

Budget pain? Not for millionaires who pay no tax

Super high earners will help repair the budget, but will do so for only a short time. Low income earners will pay, year in and year out.

RICH PAY HALF THEIR INCOME IN TAX? > CHECK THE FACTS

Earlier this week, data released by Treasury under a Freedom of Information request, were published in the media that showed Treasury predictions the Abbott Government’s budget measures were likely to hit lower income households harder than higher income households. In response, Treasurer Joe Hockey said “higher income households pay half their income in tax. Check the facts below; no one is paying half their income in tax.

In making this claim, Mr Hockey has confused marginal tax rates with average tax rates.

...The table shows it doesn’t matter what definition you use for higher income, no one is paying half their income in tax.

I disagree, as soon as other posters put forward a differing view you start posting similar as you did above.

Oh, seriously, honey, you need to understand that there are others who don't share your views on the world. I'm one of them. I stand alone, and I'm proud to. I have stayed true to my beliefs and I have never accused anyone of posting other than what they believe in.

I post when I can. Due to work and family commitments. I find that your post is a slur because you have no other argument. Wear it with pride, it's who you are.

I accept differing views. I do not denigrate threads with comments like not being able to have an adult discussion etc. when the convo doesn't go my way.

Why do taxpayers think they have choice where their tax payments are redirected to?

Maybe because there's always someone who posts back up for you whatever you post?

No you don't. You detest anything you don't believe in. You denigrate threads all the time if they don't fit your criteria. **You jump in for your "mates" if you think they're losing the argument.  Says a lot about your mates, and you.

Taxpayers don't think they have a  choice where the tax goes. But when someone comes on here as a bleeding heart and then states they got free insulation for ONE of their houses. But it's all Liberals fault, buck up, bumpy ride ahead.

That is your opinion, I don't agree with it. That is a differing view, not a personal attack ,which your post above is. Your post also contains false assumptions.**

Individual posters agree with others who have the same view in a particular thread, I don't see anything odd with that. I would never 'pretend' to agree with anything I do not truly agree with. Very presumptuous of you to suggest that.

According to your post above it is not on for anyone to agree with another poster!

There is nothing wrong with a person receiving what they are eligible for.

Personal attack? Used to be called disagreeing. That was obviously before the NBN, FB, the twit  thing.

There is nothing wrong with a person receiving what they are eligible for, which was my point. If you're eligible for it, why is it attack zone for some?

Ask yourself, you are the one saying you don't want your tax paid going to someone with two houses! Interpersonal much?

Leave me out of FB, twitter don't use either of them. Don't belong to any off eBay groups with other posters either.....

You know, I've had a busy week, working for a living. You nitpick spelling ONLY when it suits you. I have no interest in what other posters post, if I did I would post to it. You are a petty little nobody. report that. not like you don't know how to.

I never report your posts, nevyn.. another assumption. You are denigrating this thread with your personal attacks. Which seems to happen when others have views that differ from yours.
