Why Friday?
will tell you that he is an expert in Scripture. He assures you that Hell is not real and that Jesus is not YHWH.
Scholars will tell you they know it all. They have jobs in universities and seminaries etc. They preach the Word of God or write books on it.They ALL tell you that Jesus was crucified on a Friday.
The Bible does not say that.In fact the Bible appears to be absolutely showing that the cricifixion took place on a Thursday.
So my question is simple. Why would they believe anything these people say when the get the simple things so wrong?
Secondly many many people will say that the Bible translations are correct. There is a KJV only movement and they will tell you tat the KJV must be followed.
If you tell them the Bible is mistranslated they go beserk.
So if any one is interested I will show you through the Bible that not only was the crucifixion on a Thursday and not Friday that also the Bible is mistranslated.
If anyone wants to make fun or start a fight they will be reported and ignored. If anyone wants to search for the truth I am here to help you find the truth.I do not want to fight.I just want you to search for and find the truth.

What part of 3 days and 3 nights dont you get? What part of HIGH HOLY DAY do you NOT get? When you said the women wrapped Him and took Him off the cross how about showing us where you got that from.
Paul said on the third day.He was taking the whole lot as days. But it was 3 days and 3 nights. Now why dont you say Jesus LIED because HE said 3 days and 3 nights.
The Scriptures show there was a HIGH HOLY DAY that week.2 SABBATHS!That is why it mentioons the day of preparation which makes it appear there is an error. The Pharisees went to see Pilate the day after the crucifixion. If the crucifixion was on a Friday that had broken the Sabbath if they went saturday. The passover was on a thursday. The next day was the day the Pharisees went to Pilate. It was the day after the Sabbath and the day BEFORE the Sabbath.
You are clearly wrong and too arrogant to admit it.

of course it does:
I explained that above, but I'll do it again
Day 1 = Friday - he died and was buried in the tomb of Joseph of Arimathæa. By the way Graham it seems that Joseph wrapped Jesus.
Day 2 = Saturday - the Sabbath
Day 3 = Sunday - the women went to the tomb and Jesus had risen - on the third day as the scripture says.
Thursday was the Passover - you remember Graham, they had that little get together Jesus and his 12.

He was not there when they went there at first light Sunday morning. He rose during the evening of the third day and night.
will not admit he is wrong even when shown.
There was 2 sabbaths that week. The normal saturday sabbath and the PASSOVER. cannot see that.Because they dio not read and do not see the Gospels speaking of a HIGH HOLY DAY they make errors.
It does not matter even if I am wrong on whether it was a WEDNESDAY or THURSDAYThe point is it could not be a FRIDAY because He was not there 3 days and 3 nights.
thinks he is an expert.I am still waiting to hear from him on which women he claims took Him from the cross and wrapped Him in cloth.

I know, it's because it's Paul that said 'on the third day' in his letter to the Corinthians. You seem to have a problem with Corinthians - Corinthian 15:24-28 and 1 Corinthians 15:4 - MUST REMEMBER, GRAHAM SAID DON'T TAKE ANY NOTICE OF PAUL'S WRITINGS - THEY ARE WRONG AND GRAHAM IS RIGHT.

Matthew 27 62Now the next day, that followed the day of the preparation, the chief priests and Pharisees came together unto Pilate,

Explain it.If you are correct then explain that.

Politics and Religion.........
Mum was right.....

Religion appears to be so complicated with everyone having their own interpretations and their own "truth". Everyone who is born eventually dies. The only ones who come back to life are either zombies or suffer from catalepsy [sp]. Being an atheist, I do not observe Good Friday in a christian manner.

Peace on earth and goodwill towards all mankind.
Celebrate it on Thursday, or Friday. Being right is not always the right thing to be... especially if a lot of fighting is involved.
