Why don't dentists have fish tanks anymore?

Maybe I don't get around enough but my children have never been to a dentist with fish tanks and I think they have missed out

Why do Pharmacists have to be up higher than everyone else?

I'm still looking for the answer to that one

I think they are supposed to give you a feeling of tranquility.  I don't recall ever seeing one at the dentist but that would probably be the reason.

Am I the odd one out? All dentists used to have fish tanks that I ever went to up till about 20 years ago

Never seen a fish tank.

My guess would be to stop the kiddies swishing their new toothbrushes through the water while the bill is being settled.

Another reason might be that fish, by and large, do not have teeth, to be good advertisements for the dentist.

Except the dangerous ones.
