Why is eBay using the greeting "Happy Holidays" instead of the correct greeting of "Merry Christmas"

I don't know you, so no idea.

Do we have aussie traditions? where does it snow in Australia in December? and my tradition is not a surfing santa..........I feel sorry for santa in all that red wool and fluff.

Happy Holidays because most of the big holidays fall during this time of year.

Starting with Thanksgivings 4 day weekend (the biggest shopping weekend sales), Christmas, Hanukkah, and New Years. I also see others acknowleged throughout the year and those that don't apply to me I don't give a second thought.

Besides, I see and hear Australian commercials, actors, ect on a daily basis and I'm not complaining.

What's wrong with Happy Holidays?  It covers everyone who is having holidays.. not sure about those who aren't, like the emergency services who take care of everyone who has overdone holidays.

Or think about it for a minute and realise that Ebay is a US company and they have holidays that include christmas and thanksgiving.
