The question is
Will Julia Gillard Lead the Labor Party to the Election
If she leads it will be a total wipe out, if she is replaced at least they may save a few seats but they (the labor party) are headed for political oblivion and a wipe out no matter what they do.

looking to other aspects of the economy .. things that matter to everyday people.. under gillard the tax burden is lower, as are interest rates. despite the claims of (news ltd) the economy is in great shape and many called for a deficit anyway. swan only persued it to appease public perception, its not a need as our debt is small and manageable and very low when compared to other developed economies .

LL please take your blinkers off, it is sad you are so blind sided. how can the tax burden be lower and sustainable when the country owes a huge amount in interest from borrowings. Do you know what the deficit is and what it will take to repay it. It will be left to the libs to get it back on track. They will not get any thanks for fixing the mess labor left but it has to be done. We have to look after small business which employs the biggest % of workers, labor does not believe in that philosophy. I employed 45 people but have had to cut back, the workers remaining have good jobs at the cost of those let go, all during the last 4 years under labor. If labor looked after small business owners we would employ and keep more people, that is something they don't seem to realise. Unfortunately most labor pollies have never run their own business and running AUS is no different to running a business, JG has NEVER run a business and has always been an employee like all her people. KRudd is married to a self made business woman, he at least would have some idea.

take my blinkers off and put yours on ? no thanks. Abbott is a self-confessed economic illiterate, hockey completely botched the coalition budget figures at the last election (not just my opinion.. a matter of record.) theres nothing to back up your comments on small business and labor.. they tripled the tax-free threshhold for people small business employ amongst other things. small business was a big problem well before 2007, howard rambled on about his own father being a small businessman and proceeded to do nothing but say he supported them.
i have run a few myself and i know the only way to help is to ban internet sales and close coles safeway and big W down (among others). who's going to do that ? 🙂

OH, now you are getting defamatory, Coles, woollies etc are only as good as the customers who go there, so if you think you can convince people to shop elsewhere ( where?) be my guest. That type of talk is very socialistic so maybe true colours of red showing LL.
Online shopping, if you want to compete get with the times, things change, times change and we have to move with it Or you will be left behind which is where you sound like you would like to be.

Election odds read like any other sporting odds. For example, at one point in the lead-up to the 2010 federal election, TAB Sportsbet offered election odds of the incumbent Julia Gillard winning at $1.45, with Tony Abbott's coalition at $2.75 (even though the eventual result proved to be much closer that those odds suggest). A hung parliament had odds of 2.90.
they do get it wrong john.
