Whilst I'm thankful that you and a few others are around, the absence of some other great contributors is felt.

Contributors like icyfroth who while still active on eBay, her posting of diverse topics was valuable.

Another was 11dustyattic who was a refreshing poster. She was refreshing and had an open minded approach to things both here and in the buying forum. I hope she is OK because she has last been active in August, 2020. Another one was the_bob_delusion. Yes, sometimes he was a little too controversial and my word, I didn't agree with all he posted, but the stuff was challenging and stimulating!

You're on to it mate! Yes, that's basically it. Folks at Samuel and Maria's BBQ stood by while the bad guests were loading the food and booze into their cars. Others were scoffing, feeding their faces, downing the grog and either too busy doing what they were doing to notice or just couldn't care. Other folks that weren't scoffing or downing drinks quickly just didn't speak up or let the hosts know. So when Joe and Patricia arrived, there wasn't anything worthwhile to eat or drink. Also folks that would have hung around didn't. Why should they when there was nothing to keep them there. Joe and Patricia didn't hang around either.

So what became of Bob and Patricia, did they stay on the social scene. Well they did actually, they had to go way over to the other side of town. And that's when a new adventure began.

Well, Bobby Joe and his lady Patricia knew that they would find a better scene at a venue where good folks cared about what was going on. And if someone arrives late, there's going to be some decent food left. Their adventure started there with nice food, atmosphere and discussions with people who valued good stimulating discussions whilst folk were respecting those who want to talk about whatever the want to talk about.

So what Bobby Joe and his lady Patricia had done was rudely accept two invitations for the same afternoon.

They - having been elsewhere to begin with were unacceptably late.

Hopefully at this new ' venue ' all were fully vaccinated - wearing masks - keeping their distance - and - washing their hands.
