I know what you're getting at though. There'd be no rule against woment wearing mens trousers, I'd say, but there'd be shock and outrage at a man wearing a skirt.
So there's still discrimination against men, if you want to look at it that way.

Of course I didn't mean men's trousers. I meant are women allowed to wear long pants (trousers) or is there a skirt/dress rule that says they can't?
PS, you might say men wear trousers, women wear slacks but both terms are used for both genders
