In this day and age, police aren't going to play games with someone armed.........and in this day and age, an individual carrying a weapon, particularly a black man, should know better.

All they have to do is deal with people and assume some risk. They deal with people like slave masters deal with slaves and cry poor me because I had no choice but to shoot or beat someone to death. Also, what makes a black man anymore a threat than a white man, or woman. Fact is cops rape women and kill men. They do so with very little reason or no reason at all because they know they will get away with it. Typical right-wing misstatements...........nowhere did I say black folks are not allowed to own firearms, I simply stated that it isn't smart for anyone, black, white, or green to go around waving a weapon.  A cop can't tell if it's a toy gun, a pellet gun, or an actual 9.  But then you knew that.........

I guess I must have used too many big words.........first of all, owning a firearm and carrying it around in your hand are two distinctly different things. Second of all, an individual........means a person, not necessarily of a particular color.  Even you, if you wandered into a town carrying a rifle at high port are going to be stopped by the law to query your intentions......be careless in the direction you point it, and you could find yourself dead.
