OMG!!!
Did I mention.......................................................................OVER IT!
I'm not apologising for your back pedalling

Funny how you're.......over it..........but you keep coming back and saying I'm backpedalling.............I DIDN'T MENTION "OWNED"........someone else did. I always thought Australians were honorable people.....you have disabused me of that notion.

Personally, I find the idea of anyone walking around in public carrying a gun utterly appalling - and thank goodness, here in Australia it is illegal. Long may it remain so!!!

I understand where you are coming from but it's a bit like saying thatwomen who get drunk in bars, or wear 'provocative clothing' or walk down a dark street alone at night, should know better. It makes sense from a safety point of view, but it is tackling the problem from the wrong end.

Exactly She Ele,
The way some act on here I am so glad for the gunlaws in Australia and NZ.
As for America I dont really care if they want to have guns as I dont live there and really dont give a damn about what is going on with their gun laws, why we have to put up with this Carp over and over again is beyond me.

Just to clear some things up he because therem is alot of spewing of mis information by more than one person by now.
1- This topic was started not by me and the op reads- I'm buying more bullets. Can see Trump causing big trouble ahead once he is in the Whitehouse
Trump is running for president of Australia? bullets? I don't own or carry a single gun or any bullets. I would be kicked out of my apartment and back on the streets.
2- If we are talking about Tamir Rice, he never had a gun, not a real one and was not armed. Only cops never bothered to make that determination. Now make of that what you will. If we are talking about John Crawford, well he just like tamir never had a real gun, All he did was pick up a toy gun from a Walmart shelf that was already out of the box, otherwise it wouldn't have even gotten his attention. He losely pointed it at the ground holding it in one hand while the other hand was holding a cell phone up to his ear talking. In both cases, someone called cops and uttered the word gun and someone was going to die, I would think it's police policy that when the word gun is mentioned, someone gotta die.
3- Dillon Taylor never even had a toy gun, he was listening to music, on one of those Sony Walkman, or Apple iPod devices. He turned around hearing someone yelling to see what it was, and while he was turning, he was shot and killed, in the body cam video of the cop, you could tell the cop was expressing his own guilt. He wanted so bad to find a gun on Taylor.
John T Williams was carving on a piece of wood with a tiny pocket knife, Jason Harrison came out of his own house holding a tiny screwdriver (probibly working on something beforehand. Kelly Thomas who was not shot, least not with a gun was urmmm, just being homeless, that is becoming more and more a crime and guess who is making people homeless by taking away their houses. Likely the sheriffs.
4- There are, or at least were those here who don't mind having a conversation about another country. If this was an American or even an Ohio discussion forum, I would not flip out when a topic about Australia arose. I welcome the diversity. and lastly, anyone has the clear choice to just not read the materal, if it upsets them so much.
That I think covers it all, I know it's alot to take in, but it needed to be said, please reread a few times and allow it to sink in.

Having a so called illegal firearm won't be an issue when the time comes to fight or die but if you don't have one you will only be dying
I don't have the statistics to hand, but I suspect that in America there are more innocent civilians killed in their own homes by their own guns than shot in the street by strangers.

Not all of them are evicting innocents from their homes...........
