You're kidding, right?  How do you equate owning with carrying?  I own half a dozen guns, but I seldom carry them.

I didn't for one minute backpedal, dearie............that individual who had the meltdown  claimed that I said "owned", when from the start I said "carried"...... There is no federal law prohibiting owning firearms in the United States, whether black, brown, white or yellow, unless one is a felon.  Some localities prohibit possession unless licensed, but that is a state, county, or local matter.  Many states have "open carry" laws, but I for one, think it is a bad idea........much better to obtain a concealed weapons permit, that way nobody knows you're strapped.
