For some strange reason I'm finding it difficult to post comments on some political threads so I decided to start my own.
I would have to say the worst government in recent history would have to be the one lead by Gough, with those lead by Howard and Abbott being a close second.
Compared to those three, the Rudd and Gillard Government Punch and Judy show doesn’t rate mention.

no your opinion of SF's opinion is just another opinion, and not necessarily a valid one at that. 🙂
no less valid than SF's in fact .

Don't get me started on Gillard and Rudd.
Rudd murdered 4 young men and Gillard backed him up.
The rest of the party stood by whilst Rudd ran amok and destroyed the country and Gillard waited her turn to do the same.
This is fact and not fiction, this is the reason they were dumped and Rudd dumped twice, they took us for fools, mistake, huge mistake.
The bleating from the disappointed is just that.

murder ? thats a little unhinged. when a few public servants and the odd pensioner kills themselves as a result of the so called budget will that be murder ? i think you best calm down a little.

Lol at murder accusations. I won't bother plating up for you a history of Liberal MPs with blood on their hands then will I?
Any government that implements reforms that benefit the majority of people of a country I regard as successful. Whitlam well and truly fits that mould. No other government in our modern history (Chifley and Barton from previous decades) did more to allow the country to shine. Keating then followed up with economic reforms that cemented us firmly on a global basis and wacked us right in the middle of modernity.
Howard undid all of that. And speaking of 'murderers' it's funny that Howards name should pop up just now...

Blood on their hands. And Gough doesn’t’?
You might want to ask the families of the 200,000+ dead East Timorese or the 5 dead Australian Journalists what they think.

ICAC has showcased the Fact that the liberal party broke electoral funding laws in a wholesale manner. ICAC is now an enquiry dominated by corrupt liberals and their huge illegal trust funds . it seems evident the PM is personally involved up to his cauliflower ears. (does he know that much boxing definitely causes brain damage ?)

With regards to East Timor, tall bearded. The day before Indonesia invaded East Timor,U.S president Gerald Ford and Secretary of State Henry Kissinger flew out of Jakarta bound for home.At meetings with President Suharto,Ford and Kissinger gave their approval for the invasion. They lied about it to the American public later on.This was confirmed when NSA documents were released confirming Ford's and Kissinger's complicity. If any blame is to be put on any outside leader is should be directed at Ford and Kissinger. There was really nothing any Australian government could do,Liberal or Labor.
