Considering turning back the boats won't work.
There are some other good ideas like jailing all union officials and installing Gina as leader of the Labor party

No, it's a really cost-effective solution. Sorry if I let my PC mask slip there a bit. I did of course mean refugees from a life-threateningly dangerous homeland.
Sounds like Pauline Hanson has popped in here.

They already destroy captured boats.
If you could paint the refugees as vile horrible/money stealing/job stealing/ecenomic refugees/terrorists you could easily talk the Australian public into sinking them on their boats.
With enough fear history has shown you can tak a nation into doing anything a leader wants.

You do know you don't have to have a passport to 'get in' don't you? Have never had a passport myself yet I wan't born here.
What about not letting anyone in without a passport? Would that be a good policy to adopt?

It can't happen can it ? I think that even during a war our Navy couldn't just sink an unarmed (may be incorrect term) civilian boat .

something about them having to preserve live a sea .Is that International Law ?

during war any boat/ship can be engaged in battle/sunk.
only ones that can't are one bearing flags of white....indicating surrender or wanting to comunicate.
and medical ships flying red cross flag

They do destroy the boats... after disembarking passengers and crew.

Would a sink the boats policy work?
Of course it would. Hitler's 'final solution' would have worked too if the rest of the world had turned a blind eye to it.
