Well, looks like it's going to happen in the next 24 hours or so.  

I think Rudd will get in.  I think it will be all over by tomorrow at the latest.

Iza, the party is NOT bigger than the people and they had no right to over ride the outcome of a DEMOCRATIC election...not having a go..

Oh, righto.....yes they may well be, but it won't be undeserved....though as with you it makes me wanna cringe at the standard of it all these days....I wish they'd just go one way or another, but just do SOMETHING decisive...oh and I wish Julia would just be herself...= much more entertaining.

My understanding is that at the last election, the people hadn't decisively voted for either party, but the independents and Greens supported Gillard.  

It's funny, Wayne Swan has my respect ... and I think he's a nice guy ... but I can't see him as the leader.  

Poor Kate Lundy ... she always sits in the same position, smiling and nodding ... right in front of the cameras.  I wish she had a higher position, she's such a talented woman.

Totally agree on Crossin, Cue ... she's a nice woman, and capable. 

And, I'm still shaking my head at her replacement.

Gillard has said she would have a show of hands and not a secret ballot, new idea so she can see who is against her.

Apparently there is supposed to be a partition and BILL SHORTEN is supposed to have has jumped ship, if so he has stabbed Krudd in the back and now JG in the back. Glad he is not my friend.

I would like the election bought forward to August 3rd as put forward by TA, this will give us less time to have to put up with all this Carp and a government start to lead this country again.

Rose, Gillard's group has said since much earlier today that she won't be asking for a show of hands ... it was apparently the idea of one of her media advisers.  

I'd support the idea of an earlier election ... let's get this over with, eh?  

Rudd enjoyed a lovely honeymoon period last time around.

I don't know if Julia or Kevin will be the next Labor leader, but, I do know I am still so P****d because the back room boys presumed to act for us Australians that voted Kevin in.....and....they are doing it again.  Doesen't matter who wins leadership they won't win the next election.  I refuse to vote for a party that disrespects my vote.

Rudds PM, then we dont like him anymore so lets sack him and give Gillard the job and now we dont like her anymore so lets all suck up to Rudd and get him back  etc etc

That is how I see it also. Rudd was a dud,  had is chance, its over for him. If Julia Gillard needs replacing now or after the election get someone else for the job.
