I just got myself all settled in, with coffee at hand, to ring my mum and have a lovely long chat - and she's not home. Probably out gallivanting with some of her retirement village reprobates.
Honestly, I just don't know what this older generation are thinking these days

Yeah, right Lurker!
Did you speak to your Mum? I need to know what gallivanting she was doing so early...

No yet. I'll try again later. She is 2 hours ahead of us so it wasn't that early in her world.
In truth I think she is probably with my sister, granddaughters and great grand children. Lucky thing. I was there a couple of years ago on Mother's Day and it was very special.

Hi Kopes! Thanks for the welcome back- nice to see you too.
Nice to read that some things never change: 'a few small punch ups and a regular spammer*'
Though, I did first read this as 'spanner'....quick thought was- huh, regular spanner..wonder what that is..lol
Tool nonetheless by the sounds..

Lurker, have you finally caught up with your Mum and found out what she was up to?
I'll be greatly interested. Perhaps she has had some fun that has eluded my imagination.
Don't like missing out on fun times.
