Nah I get it. Every human has the right to defend themselves. Nature gave us a flight fight response. If someone threatens to kill you, and you have a weapon at hand to defend yourself, you would have every right to do so.

Just the one..........why do you try to compare motor vehicle statistics (an object whose primary function is to move people from place to place, and which hundreds of millions utilize on a daily basis) with firearms, whose only function is to propel a metal slug into a target, which often times is a human being, and is used on a daily basis by a few millions?

NYC has gun laws much like Australia. Those laws loosen up as you move further upstate. That means guns can easily be smuggled in from where it's legal to where it's not.

When you have an Attorney General who allows the (illegal) sale of full and semi Auto Assault rifles to known criminals,

knowing full well where they will end up on the basis of "following the trail", what hope have you got.

Especially when said AG manages to escape any prosecution.

Gun laws only hinder law abiding citizens and firearm owners.

Criminals don't take any notice so it doesn't affect them.

As per one guy in SA who got caught, they went to take his lecence off him, no firearms licence, no driving licence,
