Are you kidding...........you post the most inane videos..............
Jesus said "let he who is without a sword sell his garmit and buy one" tyrants fear the people and hate Christ.
Yeah, but where does he say buy an assault weapon........
Sell his "garmit"

Joannie, I do watch many of the videos linked but unfortunately yours seem often to be too long, too ranty and too conflicted to bother with.

Joanie
You made a comment earlier where you included the word "concealed".
I think using that word when justifying the carriage of arms is not going to help your argument.
And I am very pro gun, just "concealed carry" is a whole different ballgame IMHO.

Concealed and the even worse...open carry. I'm not in favour of seeing some idiot with a gun strapped to his side as if it's the old west. That's illegal here. And for concealed you have to a very good reason to be approved.
I won't apply for one. I don't feel I need it, although i would be approved. Only cops can open carry here. I've had problems with cops too. But if you keep your mouth shut, take your ticket without debating it...you'll be on your way. Arguing your civil rights with a cop is a no win.
Outside of work and the police I haven't seen anothers gun....I can't remember it's been that long.

Agree re cops. I just cop it sweet, like for speeding etc.
Sometimes they even let me have a play with the speed gun
(I generally don't bother taking up the offer of looking at the speed I was doing).
It helps and often means they knock a few kmh off, saves a few $$$.
Haven't lived in concealed or open carry location. I do know that carry a pistol on my hip or thigh
is a PITA, especially when getting in and out of boats and vehicles. Mine ended up under the arm
in a load bearing vest.

Yeah, I've caught many break being polite too. Although some you can see are angry before they even get to you. *Walk on egg shells!*
It's a tough call here, because some areas you'd need a gun. Like the everglades. I had the idea as a kid traveling through the south of digging logs out of the river.
Love the everglades! I'd carry a gun and have a rifle. Maybe 2 or 3, lol.

I go in "similar" areas over here but with Crocodiles. Far more aggreessive than Alligators.
I've done what you might call "croc protection" a couple of times for people working near banks of water.
Except I am protecting the person, not the croc.
I normally carry a rifle although some of the people I am with carry a sidearm. It is one of the few legal
reasons to carry a pistol or revolver on you in Australia. One other is farming.
One mate has a Stainless Ruger 686 in 44 Magnum.
We have a bit of a problem here with crocs now, they are getting so numerous and big that more and
more people are being taken. OK, most are being bl oody stupid but one guy got pulled out of a boat,
and eaten.
Crunch !

One day a family friend (friend of a friend) disappeared at a get together down south. They found him a day or so later stuffed under a dock by an alligator. Was he pulled in from the shore or did he go for a swim? No one knows.
I'm familiar with the dangers lurking in Australia. You guys are pretty casual with those giant spiders, even inside your houses, lol.
Gators, Crocks....won't catch me near either one, lol. Mountain lions, Bears...we got them here. Not on Long Island though! Nice and safe and staying put. Nothing deadly on Long Island...except the people. 🙂
And maybe The Montauk Monster?

Mountain lions, Bears are OK, they can be easily shot.
Crocs and Gators can't, they have a minute brain and need pin point accuracy.
"And maybe The Montauk Monster?"
Have you seen our drop bears ???
Ferocious things, drop down on your from a tree and sink their teeth and claws in.
Look up and stay alive !!!
I have other photos but they are with bodies and a bit blo ody for this forum.

The problem with bears are most people are out hiking and not carrying weapons. Nature trails and places where no one carries guns, and bears or lions are rarely seen. They're quick! Just recently a guy in New Jersey was killed by a bear. Sometimes spotted just waltzing through a suburb.
Lol...Love the Drop Bear! You're the first I've seen post it with pictures.
