At the bakery I go to almost everyday for bread they never say "can I help you" or anything like that. It is always "ya right?". Hate it, hate it, hate it X-(
They are really nice otherwise but that just grates everytime I hear it 😐

Fresh cream and desserts are kept adjacent to the fresh milk in my local supermarket whilst UHT milk and cream are kept together in one of the aisles.
Come shopping over here Icy :^O

I don't like the 'how are you today' question at supermarkets either but I really dislike someone commencing an answer to a question with 'so' X-(
It seems to be happening more and more these days - particularly in radio interviews.

My pet hate is when people use the word arks instead of ask. I work in a busy doctors clinic and I often hear two of the receptionists tell patients they will "arks the doctor. " It's so unprofessional and I cringe everytime.

It always looks amusing when someone is bagging out others spelling or use of English and they spell grammar wrong themselves.
Hmmm, shouldn't that be 'wrongly"?
I don't know, should it?:-)
Perhaps it should have read and they spell the word grammar wrong themselves?

My pet hate is: "Hi, how are you guys?" or "What can I get you guys today?"
I'm a forty-something lady usually with my daughter when I go out, and not once have we been greeted with "Hi, how are you ladies?"
Is it too much to ask to be called a lady? By no means do I look like a man so I take offense to being called a guy.

Guys is unisex. Get with the times.
I have more important things in life to get irritated by then stupid meaningless things like this.

Being called guys is not unisex it's just laziness and bad manners and I will not get with it.
