I've just caught up with this thread and speaking of school milk, I found this under my old house some years back. It says Brownes which is WAs biggest dairy (I think). I'm not sure how old it is but I think they stopped the free milk back in the early 70s.
I went to primary/junior school in both England and Australia. In Australia we often ended up drinking warmish milk but not off. In England it needed to be placed on the classroom radiators to warm up in the morning because it was very icy in winter. I remember drinking my icy milk in my little blue and white bonnet. Now that's old.

Little blue and white bonnet? Wow, got a pic?
We had straw hats with grosgrain ribbon round.

Sorry Banora. I don't think they had invented cameras back then.

That's a very "mod" hairstyle circa 1963. Am I right?

Not far off. 1966 to be exact. Passport photo. Back in the days
when they were important. Not just " Here stand in front of this
pull-down screen" at the PO. You had to actually pay a photographer!

I'll take the paper book any day before trying to work out how to use the GPS supposedly installed somewhere in my phone.

Or when you have to put your monitor on 200% in case you misread it

The old man worked for them.
Was taken to the factory --think it was in Claremont one weekend.
They were experimenting in flavoured milk -i was the taste tester lol.
Had -chocolate-strawberry-and some other flavours.
One was a lime flavour and had some oil floating on the top--was yuckie.
Saved the school childen of the Perth area suffering from the lime one.
