I'm not into politics like you all are, it is important to me somewhat as I also live in Australia, but I was wondering are you all just labour/liberal voters to the death or do you decide who to vote for every election?
I'm a swing voter myself.
My fil will only vote labour till the day he dies, he thinks they can do no wrong LOL

I usually vote for the local member, based on their performance and success rate. I don't think I have ever voted for the same one more than twice so far.

sorry, same party, more than twice.

I am a swing voter. I have voted for a liberal member for parliament many years ago. She was extremely helpful to my family with a government matter and at that time I felt the Liberals were best for Australia.
However I have voted for Labor too. I decide which parties policies I think is best for myself and the country and vote accordingly

I really wanted to vote Liberal this time but NOT while they have Abbott on board... so will have to think of my options or bite the bullet and go Labor again.

You play an important role as a swing voter, Crystal, so make sure you vote

LOLOL I'll vote lib (maybe) if they get rid of abbott.

I vote for whoever has the same values as I do.
That usually means I vote Labor.
But I would happily vote for Turnbull. And I have twice voted Liberal in NSW state elections over the last few decades.
But nothing could induce me to vote for the right wing conservatism that Abbott and his supporters stand for.

I would have voted in Turnbull too. I really think Abbott is the albatross around the neck of the Libs otherwise guaranteed win.
