For each transaction, buyers and sellers can rate each other by leaving Feedback. Each Feedback consists of a positive, negative, or neutral rating,
It is not the truth, because seller cannot leave negative feedback to buyer. I know buyers who do not pay on regular bases, there were many cases against them, but they have nice 100% positive feedback.
Leaving honest comments about a particular eBay member gives other Community members a good idea of what to expect when dealing with that member.
How can I leave honest feedback about dodgy buyer, if I am allowed leave only positive feedback?
As your Feedback Score increases, you can earn different colored stars all the way to a red shooting star ( ) for a score above 100,000! Your star is your symbol of trust and experience in the eBay Community.
But this star does not have any connection with reality if we have deal with buyers. They ALWAYS have positive and only positive feedback, does not matter how many times they abused system.
eBay charge money from sellers (not from buyers!) but does not do anything to protect them. I believe if I pay for service I am a king, not a person who got it free. Buyers have free service, but they have much more rights then sellers.
For example they are allowed to piss off sellers by not-paying and get away with this.
I know buyer with about 30 not-paid "positive feedback" and probably at 2/3 of this quantity unpaid cases - no problem. She still here. She keeps buying and NOT-paing. eBay does bot care, it is fine for them.
