This time implicated by his own camera.

Enough with act. We've had this conversation once or twice already. You say you'd hate to live here in EVERY thread about here. Yeah you do.

With your views you shouldn't be allowed here. And you can forget coffee.

do you believe in your heart of hearts that Samuel DuBose would have had a different outcome if he had acted in exactly the same way, and he was not a black man?

We would never have had a disagreement if you didn't club me over the head with your infinite knowledge. (which was rare) I always respond how I'm talked to. The same in person. Seems like a reasonable question, so...

Absolutely. Except if it was me, a white man, I would have simply stepped out. And if I fought him I'd be w dead white man. Did you see the cop being rude to the man? And he politely asked for his licence multiple times. All those infraction, together, were very suspicious. I'd expect to be cuffed and put into the back of the cop car while he'd search my car for some proof of who I am, and anything illegal (guns, drugs, etc.) The missing tag alone is reason enough to search the car.

Ok, and I'll take your insult with a grain of salt.

Do you not have a problem with the concept that if you disagree with a policemans actions you can be killed?

Regardless of ones own behaviour , surely we all are entitled to the judicial system?

Do you seriously believe that the police should be judge and, in this case, executioner.

Walsh Street killings. Do what you're asked to do. Lawyers are your besties if you're right. A bullet isn't. Some people just don't seem to get, choose your battles. Pick the winning side.

It wasn't an insult. That was an olive branch, lol.

If the cop shot him on purpose he should be charged, but still...the other man bares some responsibility. The cop knew he was wearing a camera and it would be viewed, HE put it there. He didn't know the man and had no reason to want it to become what it became. He was just doing his job and if the man acted like a responsible citizen should, he'd still be alive.

So no, I don't have a problem with that concept. The concept that if I'm given an order by a policeman and refuse I may be shot. Without it crime would skyrocket.

If a person resist arrest THEY are escalating the situation.

Hmmm. So now we're moving into more a philosophical arena.  Why bother with courts?  If the police know who is guilty is that enough?  Should a single policeman be allowed to judge someones guilt or innocence without defence?

I'm not sure I trust them that much in that moment.

There is nothing philoshopical about being pulled over and complying. If you don't (in the US at this point of time) it could be fatal. Fight your battles in court, where you won't get a bullet.

Honestly, I have no love of cops, don't trust the ones where I live, but not complying when pulled over is a stupid move.
