art thread?

Hi folks. I've just bought a box of coloured pencils, and will be working on my first drawing soon. I'll post the completed work here. Would love people to post their art here for us to see. Doesn't matter what type of art - drawing, painting, photos/photo manipulation, cake decorating, quilting, poetry, origami, whatever. Let's have some fun and show our creativity. 🙂

I think I saw the sun yesterday skwerl ! :-D.....just had a some rain before.

tas impasto is just the name of a medium.  It's in a tub, thick white stuff that dries clear. You can also get mediums that have sand like particles and very thick moulding paste. Sooo many things now LOL  can't wait to see your painting.

Sounds like something I might have to get Soul, hmm, it's a whole new learning experience isn't it, so much to find out.

I have only ever done one painting and that was years ago when I went to visit an artist friend who was in her studio painting.  She tossed some brushes at me, gave me a little canvas and said "paint" ... :O, so I did, it's awful.  All I could think of to do was two dolphins in the sea, but it ended up looking like they were racing out of a storm ... 😐

Mr. Tasfleur had it framed secretly after I tossed it in the rubbish bin.   I was horrified, but its in the bedroom and he says it has to stay there as it's his property ...  :8} ... :^O
