art thread?

Hi folks. I've just bought a box of coloured pencils, and will be working on my first drawing soon. I'll post the completed work here. Would love people to post their art here for us to see. Doesn't matter what type of art - drawing, painting, photos/photo manipulation, cake decorating, quilting, poetry, origami, whatever. Let's have some fun and show our creativity. 🙂

Erica, hubby's artwork is terrific(as is yours), and the background story to how you two met is lovely. It seems like you two are enjoying life to the fullest. :-x

Re: art thread?

Thanks Erica.

I have a question for the acrylic painters. I am thinking of painting with acrylic in my sketchbook(which I use for watercolours). The question is, will the acrylic flake off the paper when I turn over the pages of the sketchbook? Or will it sick permanently to the paper? I'd rather keep all the paintings together in the sketchbook, if possible, but I will remove the pages with acrylic from the sketchbook and keep them flat, if necessary.

Thanks in advance. 🙂
