art thread?

Hi folks. I've just bought a box of coloured pencils, and will be working on my first drawing soon. I'll post the completed work here. Would love people to post their art here for us to see. Doesn't matter what type of art - drawing, painting, photos/photo manipulation, cake decorating, quilting, poetry, origami, whatever. Let's have some fun and show our creativity. 🙂

Just wanted to say a quick hi to the art crew. 🙂

I'm continuing to draw and paint, and enjoying it very much. Here's some of what I've been doing. Drawings are in ink, and paintings in watercolour. All A4 size.

Good job moonlight!!  So glad to hear you're still enjoying art...it's a bit addictive hey ? and the amount of supplies just grows and grows LOL

Hope others have been creative???  look forward to seeing some pics.

been too sore to do much and having an op next week but I've been stocking up on supplies for after...lots of canvases and just ordered a table on wheels.  It can be used over a chair or bed with a laptop or as an easel.  I'll be bored silly for six weeks so I'm hoping I'm feeling up to painting.

Hi moonlight and all the arty crafty people.

Would love to see what everyone has been creating.  Only finished 3 paintings but will post them and hope others will post pics of theirs.

I haven't posted a pic since the change.....hope it works.

The first two are ink washes then oil pastels, the sea scape is acrylic mixed with impasto paste.

They aren't originals, I liked the photos of them, so did my own version.....thankyou to the original artist for the inspiration.
