Today i noticed one of the cats eats soap. not content with soap he eats toothpaste as well.. i haven't had a cat do this before , is it unusual ?

everytime i loaded the toothbrush and held his mouth open he would lick it off stupid, it was an impossible task, LOL
a vet suggested an alternative product to chew on
