charming xmas spirit

A person,I will not say lady has had her image put all over the net in Victoria due to her charming xmas spirit. She was filmed on security camera comming over to a decorated yard with a big plastic bag ,in the middle of the day and pinching all the kids xmas decorations. She bagged all the lights, stars, trees and figures  on the lawn as well as a group of "santa stop here" signs .

I wonder if she has pinched them for her own kids or something .. what a creep ,I cannot believe her nerve

some people are just amazing Smiley Surprised

Last i read police had not had a report so im  glad they are now on it,she deserves all she gets . It may be just to sell them to as they are not cheap .

even if it was for her kids xmas or something theres no excuse.

In my area a few people have had garden stuff stolen ,plants pots ect just dug up in the night so im carefull not to leave good plants around but im always surprised how many people leave expensive bikes on verandas and they seem fine.

I can't even leave my hose in the front garden.

I have to lug it back and forth from around the back.

get an old hose, put little holes in it every few inches all along it then leave it neatly rolled up in your front yard and wait.....

Oh boy, this resonated with me.

We live in a quiet little court and a week or so ago we had our hose stolen. We have had a hose out the front for something like 20 years & this is the first time we have had one nicked.

Our next door neighbours had had a garage sale and I strongly suspect it was someone who came to that. Walked past our place and decided they wanted a real bargain.

The one theft that really got me was a few years ago. We back onto a walkway & had a plum tree along the fenceline.

One day someone must have jumped the fence because every single plum had been taken. I thought that was lousy. I can understand someone maybe taking a few. If there were any poking through the fence (which is cyclone wire) I wouldn't really care if thyey took some.

But to jump the fence and take every single one...Smiley Sad

There are some very lousy people in this world & Christmas doesn't make them less lousy.

I suppose we should be grateful it is just things this woman took and she wasn't bashing or killing anyone. Too much of that going on too.

Springy how many plums were taken?

Because it's the main ingredient for making moonshine lol.

And one of the main reasons someone pinches hoses is to make bongs, our hose once kept getting shorter and shorter lol

what an awful person she must be... I bet she's a local to that area too. Surely someone will recognise her, the CCTV was pretty clear

I think part  of it too with the plums is probably the idea they lingered about in your yard, thats not a nice feeling as you wonder if you had gone out and caught them it may have been very nasty.

The people down the road from me have got rid of their passionfruit vines  and beans out the front as they got so fed up with hearing noises in the night from people coming in to steal things, it just got too much the creepy feeling of it the lady was saying ...apparently her husband was keen on putting mouse traps in the vines ,but as she said it would probably end with THEM being charged  or something.

Would serve the thieves right.
