Dear Mods. Is it possible to create a political discussion board similar to the Art and Crafts or the Fun and Games Board?
That way the politickers could argue politics all day long if they wished without disrupting the flow of general discussion topics on Community Spirit.
Thanks.
And is there any chance the hover feature will be coming back?

Political threads and people who want to post them, read them or comment on them can go crazy on their own special political board.
It will be politics heaven
How does it hurt you if people post a few political threads?
Following that logic we should have a cooking board, a shopping board, a tv board, a random board.
I can't see what the drama is with having a few political threads on a chat board. Or why it seems the regular posters are being blamed for the spammers disruptions.

Actually iza. I didnt say all people who start political threads are rude. I responded to pepe's post thats said
"there is no need for a dedicated board, all that is needed is for the political zealots to stick to one or two threads instead of posting a separate thread for each brain bottom burp, and to quit invading other threads with their propaganda."
I agreed and said that they, the political zealots, were rude.
I then also added, in answer to your question asking me who is rude, "IMO the people who are starting political threads over and over again day after day are the rude ones."
Yep, i still think they are rude and i will add to my list of rudeness the ones who go into a non political thread and try and turn it into a political one.
Are you following it all now Iza?

DDB,
i was referring to this post of yours
BRAVO
Exactly. They are just rude.
From the beginning of the whole thing there should of been a Labor thread and a Liberal thread and thats it. They are rude how they keep starting thread after thread sprouting off the same dribble
and your recent post
whos trying to exclude anyone?

That is a most wonderful idea. Over the past few months this discussion forum has been awash with political tirades and I can see very little 'Community Spirit' at all. Endless copying and pasting from various internet pages and the same old slandering of our then PM Mr Rudd. Prior to that it was Ms Gillard who was the brunt of some fairly unpleasant barbs and often from the same posters.
I would certainly a support a political discussion thread where all those who wish to discuss the ins and outs of our politicians can argue between themselves, perhaps have copying and pasting contests to see who can dig up the most dribble or drivel. It's all the same really.
I was once a Liberal supporter, but I'm no fan of Tony Abbott. However I'm not about to start a discussion on this forum about that because I don't believe it's a topic for Community Spirit.
@daydream**believer has said exactly what I feel, and I would imagine many others would agree with her.
