did cake no have eggs in them 25 years ago?

was looking after my neice and nephew earlier, they wanted to make a cake.

so we went shopping got all the stuff we needed.

got home mixed up the mix, on the packet it says--don't eat batter as it contains raw eggs.

**bleep**........thatis the best bit of making a cake the bowl and the beaters.

people eat raw eggs everyday

 They have to cover their a*ses.   There have been recent cases of

 salmonella in raw eggs.

Yeah, I've noticed that they've put that little warning on cake mixes now. I've been eating raw cake mix for 42 years, so I'm not about to stop just because it's on the box.. 😛

My kids didn't want me to put the cake in the oven.  

They just wanted to lick the beaters and bowl as is.  

And then asked for the frosting.  

To do the same.
