not being to regular on here a question do the mods on here always delete a lot of posts and stifle debate with their "friendly reminders" post they make in many threads as i am seeing happen now?
seems so sterile doing that and it seems to stife banter and debate
so am i allowed to make a post like this or will i get into trouble?

I've been here for a few months now and from what Ive noticed they tend to stifle most serious debate and class it as interpersonal dispute.
Agree 100%
There is a fair amount of bickering that goes on within the boards here. Which I quite like, I find it amusing to a certain extent.
But I think some here take the whole forum thing way too seriously and some get offended and "report" posts they dont like way too quickly.
Agree 200% on this one,
Thats just my opinion though...
I agree with your opinion, between the way to easily offended and the politically motivated to push a button on here and the williningness of the boards masters to act to kill any debate the boards have lost any sort of community and spirit and the debate is stiffled and dull.

I think button pushers might not be so prevalent anymore, it appears the mods are monitoring and taking action themselves? unless I have read my mail incorrectly.

A lot of problems are caused by posters replying to the last poster
and not the one they read back a few posts----hope that makes sense.--Richo.

seriously? there is so much 'man bashing' that goes on here that I would have thought turnabout is just fair play.
Where's the "come hither" emoticon when you need one?
