Yes, they are being brought back because their family want them, fine. Why has it been the 1st item every news break today? The media is making them into martyrs, and bet the funerals will turn into another media circus. They are criminals, and we are making them into celebrities.
If they were left rotting in the jail, it would have been better all around. Most people would have forgotten who they are.

I saw someone on facebook today refer to it as Ned Kelly syndrome, Australians like to to glorify criminals for some reason.
Drug dealers are predators. They dont care about hurting their families, other peoples families or of course the drug addicts, many of whom are mentally or emotionally unwell. They prey on the weak in society and although I dont think the death penalty fits the crime I'm horrified at the thought that anyone would think they deserve a minutes silence.

Funny how you all come out with the hate now, THEY ARE DEAD, let it go.
It is not their Famlies fault, comes time when children choose they own road.
All should think them selves lucky it is not their sons.

Well said Rose. Some of the hatred here truly appals me. I think some of the people here would have knitted shawls while at the guillotine.

Hate?? My position hasnt changed since this whole saga started. I dont agree the punishment fits the crime, I feel very sorry for their families but none of that changes the fact they are criminals and were dealt a consequence that they were fully aware of when they chose to smuggle drugs.
Hard to let it go when it is still the top running news story all over the net. The 5000 or so dead in Nepal dont seem to be able to rate a mention 😞

If it was my child, I would want privacy. I would want to grieve in private. I would not want it made into media circus.

So are you saying thee media attention is the families fault.
There is no way that poor family can grieve in private, the Indonesian media nearly bloody crashed them to death every time they went to visit their sons.
