Re: favourite computer desktop background pics post

This is the wallpaper on my laptop.  It always makes me smile when it appears.

(For those not old enough to recognise it, it's Steve Zodiac and Robert the Robot from the Gerry Anderson puppet series 'Fireball XL5').

Didn't know there were owls on the NZ half crown?  Can't see very well in the pic so I'll take your word for it.😁

There is this coin though.....

You need more than 800x600 display resolution , my coin is a little worn but yes by adding a lower part does seem more a stylised Maori icon , or could it be a ferocious tawny frogmouth bird ?

The images on either side of the Shield of Arms are Tikis, not owls.

View from the bar ? Been a bit of rain locally ?

Picture was taken on the 13th hole looking back from the green and our course is normally like this or close to it.

This is another one I use and it's the 5th hole with the Murray river on the left on our other 18 hole course.good.gif

I can not understand the covid ban on golf , as long as the clubroom/cafe/restaurant was closed, natural social distancing- exercise and sunshine - nice drone pic , shame the Murray River is not that colour from ground level...

Only Victoria and Northern Territory have banned it at all of their courses and all other states have been playing

with restrictions in place,eg: two per group, only one person per cart, can't arrive any earlier than within ten minutes

of start time,no touching flags, holes are shallow so easy to pick up ball,no contact and leaving straight away after

NSW was initially shut but was openened later.

It would be nice to be that blue but the Murray is generally more a grey/brown colour when closer up.Corny_cleaning-glasses.gif

Well anyhow , i sort of figure that when home , may as well create a pleasant computer user environment - need to get some indoor plants.. but at least i have the comfort of the leather lounge chair
