flowers that bloom in Melbourne in May

I need my garden to look tip top in May, I have some impatiens that are looking wonderful but will they continue to bloom?  Need some other colourful plants that are going to last right through till early June.  Thanks in advance!  What about Roses?

Pansies, violas are also good choices 

Roses will be starting to go domant
