I find leatherwood too strong, I always think it tastes like a bushfire has gone through.
My favourite used to be Patterson's Curse which is no longer available due to the P-C being a noxious weed, some from Western Australia tried selling it under another name but that was also stopped.
Then my mother's neighbours supplied me with honey for about 30 years and now I have to buy my own and there isn't much around that I like, none of them taste the same as fresh that day from the hive.
I usually walk past numerous shrubs, plants and tress covered in bees but I haven't see a bee around for 2 or 3 years now, and I have no hope of my passionfruit being pollinated (is that the correct word?) at the end of this year if they don't turn up soon.
Where have all the honey bees gone to?
