i have 2 questions

how thin is the skin of some of the people here?

when you post long copy and paste do you actually read the whole lot before you post it? or just read the first couple of lines and decide that it suits what ever point( if you have you) are trying to prove?

Most people's skin would be of similar thickness according to their age group.

I can only speak for myself but yes, I do read any copy that I paste.  I assume most people do the same, although it does sometimes appear that's not always the case.

1) No thin skin here. It is well known on this board that I have the hide of an elephant.

2) I don't post long C&Ps - I post the bits that support the point I am trying to make and include a link to the article. (when quoting it is imprtant always to acknowledge your source.)

the first question isn't really answerable unless meant as physically, my Aunt who is quite old has very papery skin and it cuts very easily.

If posting an article, I will always read the entire thing, some posted for interest, some posted as an answer to other "points" posted by others. I don't think a poster has to agree with every single thing C&P'd. There are very few sources that I use that I would say I agree with absolutely everything written but it does sometimes happen even with the msm.

as for c&p, I don't do them. I have the attention span of a gnat and really just couldn't be bothered. If I do go off in search of something to add to a thread I usually end up buying something at an online shopping site or looking at lolcats

It doesn't matter to me .Does it to you ?

I can't and won't speak for anyone else but I post things that are of interest to me ..in a way I am permitted to .

If something doesn't interest me I don't read it .

But coming into a thread to post  that you don't like post because it  is a c&p and you won't read it ...seems pointless to me.

Like jumping into a conversation just to tell others you don't like them talking.Who does that in RL ?
