Re: masterchef the professionals

PS - I keep thinking that Michael would make a most excellent pirate. He's got the face, hair and nose for the role.

Good show again but it was an odd one.  All the contestants were constantly looking around at what others were doing.

What do you think about tomorrow night?  Sarah can use her immunity pin but if she does then Rhys has to go into the challenge.  I think that she won't use it.

Rhett is entertaining and he's probably been edited to the max to make him look like the bad guy.  All of them can cook.

Top three though for me are still Sarah, Nick and who knows.  Rhys, Nathan, Michael?  The answer is they could all win it.

Re: masterchef the professionals

I think Sarah will cook tonight. I don't think she will put Rhys in the challenge after he finally won something yesterday.

But.... at this late stage she might...

Re: masterchef the professionals

I really can't see what the dilemma is for the holder of the immunity pin. The pin is to save themselves, so of course someone has to take their place. And if that someone gets eliminated, well that's one last competitor to worry about. It's all an act for the cameras when the pin holder cries and carries on as if they are sacrificing their own children, as they hand back the pin to save themselves. They are in it to win it.

Sarah has been strong in past service and team challenges, so she has nothing to worry about and should hold onto the pin. And she is strong in the individual cook-offs too, but it is the individual challenges where she needs to use the pin.

Brave Sarah. She cooked tonight. And she did so well. I was really worried about her till judges tasted her chocolate tart. I'm very happy for her 🙂

Both deserts looked so yummy. I wish I could have a slice.

I'm very very sad about Nick being eliminated :_|

Yeah, I am disappointed that Nick is gone.

Would love to see Cassie in finals week to see what she is really capable of.

Wow.  I'm very sorry that Nick was eliminated and I'm so pleased that Sarah was the clear winner along with Michael.

It does seem unfair that Nick got lumbered with the most difficult dish and still did a good job apart from the preparation.  That's the way it goes.

As for the head chef person.  What would happen if you were treating your staff  in that way with a house full of waiting customers and your staff chucked it in and left you to it?

I was sad to see nick go:-(  I really thought with his experience he would have gone through, he just seemed to work too slow sometimes.

I guess with his track record with leaving bones in, he didn't want to do it this time lol

Rhett seems to have dodged a few bullets, undercooked salmon? a pretty serious error.

I think everyone has a great respect for sarah not using the pin, how noble of her! proven herself in a big way, she led the team so well, whilst the blokes did not work well together as a team.  Michael is funny when he works at such a fast pace, he is like a machine

It never ceases to amaze me the way head chefs speak to the cooks, in any other workplace setting, it would be seen as "workplace bullying".  gotta have a thick skin to work in that industry thats for sure.  The pressure seemed to be so immense!
