Yes, it does come across like that but there are other possibilities besides the parents. It's a tragedy whoever did it.

I don't know how reliable they are but channel 7 just said the police are getting ready to charge the mother.

I just heard that the mother is under police protection in hospital, as she has been arrested for the murders....

This community will fare better than others after such a tragedy, because they consist of one big family, irrespective of whether they are related. Other Australians could learn from them about this encompassing of compassion.
We have seen this recently when 11 people, including 8 children, perished in a house fire in Brisbane three years ago.
